Stop Overpaying for Your Krones Contiform Lamps
Let’s be honest: keeping Krones Contiform lines running is expensive. Between the maintenance and the OEM parts bills, the costs just keep climbing. We figured there had to be a better way to handle the heating lamps without breaking the bank or risking your bottle quality. So, we built a direct replacement. It’s designed to fit Nissei ASB and Krones systems perfectly, but the real goal here is simple:lower your cost per bottle.
The heat you actually need
Heating PET preforms is a brutal job. You need a massive amount of intensity in a very small space to hit that glass transition temperature fast. Our lamps are spec’d to handle the exact voltage and wattage your oven already uses. You get deep IR penetration that hits the walls of the preform hard, while the neck stays cool. It’s exactly what you need to keep the line moving.
Built to last (and fit)
We didn’t cut corners on the materials. We use high-purity quartz glass because the cheap stuff burns out way too fast. Plus, we’ve integrated a halogen cycle. Basically, it pushes those tungsten deposits back onto the filament instead of letting them build up on the glass. That means the lamps live longer. And the best part?**They just fit.**Depending on how old your machine is, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. You can just pop them in. No rewiring, no modifying your racks, no headaches.
A few things to keep in mind
These lamps put out a lot of heat. Like, a lot. Because they run so hot, you’ve got to make sure your oven’s ventilation and cooling systems are clean. If your blow-off air is blocked, that ambient heat can stress the ends of the lamp and kill it early. Keep it breezy, and the lamps will stay happy. When you swap these into your Contiform line, the heating profile stays the same as the original parts. It’s a quick win for your maintenance budget. Just remember to double-check your timers when you install them so you don’t accidentally overheat your PET.
