Because the heat hits the product in seconds rather than minutes, you don’t need a giant cavern of an oven to get your throughput numbers. You can go smaller. The nitty-gritty stuff
We make these emitters out of high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because they can handle being turned on and off rapidly without cracking under the pressure. Plus, we use standard connectors. That means you don’t have to rebuild your entire line; these lamps just slide right into most industrial setups. One quick tip, though: you have to keep an eye on your ventilation. These things put out a ton of heat in a very tight space. If your airflow is off, you might end up with a burnt crust before the middle of the loaf is even warm.
The trade-off
Here’s the deal. Using these emitters is a great way to save on your upfront costs. But quartz tubes aren’t magic—they need a little love. If you let grease build up on the glass, you’ll get hotspots. Those hotspots will burn out the tube way faster than they should. It’s not a big deal, though. Just a simple, regular wipe-down keeps everything running smooth and ensures your lamps actually last as long as they’re supposed to.
